Calling it quits
11/25/2009
Well folks, it's been a good run, but I think it's time to call it quits.
I'm sure those of you who have been more or less regular readers have noticed the drop in number of blog entries. Demands on my time...especially financial needs...have forced this decision.
Well, that and facing the fact that I will never generate the kind of traffic to this website that is necessary for commercial success.
This website will remain active, as a reference source until my ownership of the name expires next summer.
Thanks for reading and opining. Keep the faith, conservatism is still the majority view and the Obama phenomenon is now beginning to wear thin with the people who got so caught up with it.
Seems they are discovering what some of us knew from the very start, the new emperor has no clothes...and Obama is buck-nekkid...that's for sure.
God bless you, God bless our republic.
Onward to victory!

Translation... it's time to get a job??
One of the 100 most read blogs (a conservative blog) in America, Little Green Footballs, wrote today:
"The American right wing has gone off the rails, into the bushes, and off the cliff. I won't be going over the cliff with them."
Johnson's post argues against the fanaticism of politicians like Michele Bachmann, Sarah Palin, Pat Buchanan as well as the conservative blogosphere ("Hatred for President Obama that goes far beyond simply criticizing his policies, into racism, hate speech, and bizarre conspiracy theories (see: witch doctor pictures, tea parties, Birthers, Michelle Malkin, Fox News, World Net Daily, Newsmax, and every other right wing source)"). He also cites the "anti-Islamic bigotry that goes far beyond simply criticizing radical Islam, into support for fascism, violence, and genocide."
Hey chump,
If you want to impress me with your intellect and sagacity, don't come quoting from a blog started by someone so juvenile as to name their blog after dried nasal mucus (Little green footballs = boogers).
I don't care what that self-admiring pseudo-conservative fool says. Sarah Palin is dominating the political discourse and is the voice of modern conservatism.
She has morphed into the modern day equivalent of Ronald Reagan...something I would not have said about her prior to watching her latest round of appearances...she is the the future of the Republican Party
If Republicans want to win back the White House and Congress they would be well advised to follow her lead and speak out in defense of those values that made this nation the greatest in history.
We tried it your way and Johnson's way (he's named after a male appendage, ever notice that?) when we ran McCain against Obama...so where did that get us?
Go visit FreeRepublic if you want to see how a majority of Conservatives think, not that hs been.
