The Obama Plan: Middle Class Tax Increase and a Single-Payer Health Care Plan

Wow! It only took until August for President Obama to break every major promise he made during his campaign. This has to be a new record.

• He promised to close down the Guantanamo Detainment Facility by year's end-then he discovered that he would have to figure out where to put all of the detainees. Now it looks as though "Gitmo" will have to remain open.
• He promised to be out of Iraq in 18 months-now it appears that there will be about 100,000 troops there indefinitely.
• He promised us that if Congress passed the $1 Trillion "stimulus package" unemployment would stay below 8.5%-it is now at 9.5% and shows no sign of stopping. Virtually everyone, even in the White House, is now predicting unemployment to go well over 10.5% and probably over 11.5%
• He promised us that everyone who was satisfied with their current health care coverage would be able to keep it-now we know that he never intended for that to be more than a temporary transition on our way to a single-payer health care system...just like the Canadian or British system...but don't take my word for it, take Obama's:
  
  
• He promised us that he would not raise taxes on any American earning less than $250,000/year-yesterday both the Director of the National Economic Council, Larry Summers and the Secretary of the Treasury, Timothy Geitner admitted that Obama would not rule out raising taxes on the middle class to pay for Obama care and to deal with the huge deficit he has been creating with his big government/big spending agenda.
  This is known as "paving the way" for the real announcement to come...a way of lessening the shock when the actual announcement of the tax increase is made.
  Of course that is ignoring the huge tax increase that will come about should Congress finally enact the "Cap and Trade" bill that passed through the House earlier this year.

So...Obama has been lying to the American people from the outset...as we Conservatives have been saying from the beginning. The Obama calculus never added up-never made any sense Americans should have known that "you can't have your cake and eat it too."

Now we have the President in his own words proving the lie he told in his attempt to sell this "bill of goods" known as the Health Care Reform Act. We now have Representative Barney Frank (D-MA) admitting that the goal is a single-payer health care plan. We now have Representative Jan Shakowsky (D-IL) promoting the idea of destroying private health care in favor of a single-payer plan.

Their aim is clear, their path is dishonest, and their promises are lies. You don't have to believe me, you only have to listen to their own words coming from their own mouths.

The Health Care Reform Act, in all of its guises, from all of its sponsors is a Trojan Horse intended to destroy the private health care sector and replace it with SOCIALIZED MEDICINE.

No if's, and's, or but's about it Obama is a Marxist, was raised a Marxist, and has always been a Marxist. He believes in Marxism and he is doing everything he can to move America towards that goal. If you don't see that; if you don't finally know that now, they you are a fool-a self deluding fool.

It's up to you, the American citizens, to act. You've got the proof. You've heard the lies and the truth now.

Contact you Representatives and Senators; let them know that you don't want to live in another failed Socialist regime.
