President Obama is now reaching (with his right hand only) to shake hands with King Abdullah.
And only now does Obama move to grasp the king's hand with his left hand as well.

So the White House line is that President Obama wasn't bowing to King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, it's only that the King is much shorter than Obama and he was using both hands to greet the king...ahem...okay...
Yeah, and Robert Gibbs always tells the truth.
Looks like a bow to me...unless the king is a dwarf hiding behind our Liar in Chief. Here is the entire sequence from one of the videos posted on YouTube:

...and now we bow (note Obama's left hand is clearly visible and he is not grasping the hand of King Abdullah with both hands as the White House claimed). This is clearly a bow.
And only now does Obama move to grasp the king's hand with his left hand as well.
I'm surprised they didn't claim that Obama had lost a contact and was looking for it. Even that would be more believable than what they are claiming in the White House.
Once more, we see that this is a team of neophytes who are completely out of their depths. This has got to be the dumbest administration in history.
...and Democrats were critical of President Bush? What a joke! President Bush was twice the man that Obama is; in character, honesty, humility, intelligence, understanding of the Presidency, by any measure Bush was/is the superior man and he would never have bowed and scraped like this fool.
Long Live Our American Republic!!!!

Obama, the President of the United States and leader of the free world, bows to a Saudi King who represents a despotic regime noted for its’ human rights violations, a birthplace of terrorists, a symbol of everything that is an antithesis to our system of government, and it’s no big deal?
I consider myself fortunate to have been born in a republic. I appreciate that as a citizen of a republic, I need not bow to any man or woman. We are all created equal, and blood lines do not make one person superior. This gesture by Obama should rankle every citizen for when Obama bowed as President of the United States, we all bowed.

oh no he bowed...he's most definitely symbolizing his hatred of democracy because he is trying to be RESPECTFUL while being a guest in a country that is not his home.
For the record, Ju, try and be a bit less ignorant. Bowing in most cultures is not submissive at all.

In Islamic nations, bowing is not done. It is considered an affront to God and no Muslim bows to another man, not even the king. Muslims believe that man only bows before God.
No American President ever bows before the leader of another nation, ever in history.
You may hate your country and believe it is evil and wrong to be proud, but most Americans are legitimately proud of their nation.
Go peddle your stupidity and hatred somewhere else.
