An Open Letter To Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell
Dear Senator McConnell,
Thank you and your colleagues for forcing the reading of Senator Boxer's substitute amendment.
Although your stated reason for this request concerned the Democrat Senators efforts to delay votes on judicial nominees, your actions served the American citizens in a much greater way.
This Global Warming bill is an anathema to all Americans who are concerned with the effect such a sweeping reform of the energy sector of our economy would have on our national security, our economy and the already onerous tax-burden we citizens bear.
To you and your colleagues like Senator Jeff Sessions, Pete Dominici, and Robert Corker I offer my gratitude and I suggest that further efforts to force the reading of each amendment to this bad legislation would be a good thing.
Hooray for Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell for demonstrating the courage to fight this corrupt and dishonest Democrat Party gaming of the Senate rules.
Please keep up the great work you and your colleagues are doing and know that there are millions of Americans out here who understand the seriousness of what the Liberals in Congress are attempting to do with this legislation and appreciate what you and your colleagues are doing to prevent this economic disaster posing as environmental legislation from becoming law.
At this juncture in our nation's history, we need men like you.
